Q: How does it go on?

Standard and Wide go on spout first. Hold PALM level, put the wide opening of the slot over the spout end of the pump head, then slide PALM back along the head until it grips. The other way round will not seat. The Dome does not slide on. Place it over the rounded head, then press it all the way down until soap comes through the spout — that one full press is what seats it. The letter underneath tells you which you have: S, W or D.

How it works

Press it on

Onto the pump top you already own.

The pump asks for the same push either way. What changes is that a palm, a fist or a forearm can give it, where a fingertip runs out first. See the calculations.

Who it’s not for

Not everyone, and it never was. What changes is where the push lands, not how hard the pump is — there is no lever in this and the pump stays exactly as stiff — so if pressing is impossible rather than painful, something else is the better answer.

Will it fit your pump?

Pump tops aren’t standardised, but nearly all are one of three shapes. Look at yours from the side and pick the match.

Standard is sold for 16.6–20.6 mm across the narrow way, Wide for 21.7–25.3 mm. Outside those, or between them, we do not sell a stock size — the fit checker says so rather than sell you one on a guess. Dome wraps a round top. Oval, unusual, or outside the sizes? We make made-to-measure fits. If the size is wrong we exchange it free.

It goes in a pocket, so it comes with you

Off in seconds, into a pocket, on again at the other end — the gym, a friend’s house, a public bathroom. Everything else that solves this stays on the shelf you put it on: a wall dispenser is screwed to the wall, an electric one is a unit with a tank to refill. This one comes with you, and for me that is the point of the whole object.

It doesn’t announce itself either. It clips onto the bottle you already chose, so nothing on your sink looks like equipment. More on washing your hands away from home, including the answers that are not mine.

Why we made it

I have neuropathy, and a soap pump everyone else pushes without thinking became a small daily battle. So I made this. More about why.

Will it fit my pump?

Round top? You need Dome. Flat top? Measure across the narrow way at its widest — 16.6 to 20.6 mm is Standard, 21.7 to 25.3 mm is Wide. Outside those, or between them, we do not sell a stock size and we say so; a made-to-measure one is printed to your own pump. If the size is wrong we exchange it free.

What if my pump is an odd shape?

Order the made-to-measure option and we print to your exact pump, including oval heads. If it does not fit, we remake it or refund you.

What is it made of, and how do I clean it?

Bambu Lab PLA Pure, a plant-based filament from corn and sugarcane, certified against the EU food-contact standard (EU 10/2011) and EN 71-3 toy safety — a fact about the filament, not the finished part. It is strictly hand-wash only: warm water, no dishwasher, because it softens above 60 °C. It arrives in a home-compostable mailer certified to EN 13432 (TÜV OK compost HOME, licence S1362), with paper wrap and labels and no plastic.

Returns and delivery?

Printed and dispatched within 1–2 working days, then 2–3 working days by Royal Mail 2nd Class. Delivery is free. Cancel any time before dispatch, and you have 30 days after it arrives to change your mind — there is no condition about having used it.
